The Landings at River North is the first vertical development of the River North urban waterfront district. Comprising 12 acres of existing waterfront warehouse buildings, the area is planned to be redeveloped into an active, mixed use development. The key components of the plan include two residential buildings with ground floor retail and the adaptive re-use of the existing waterfront warehouse building into an active commercial and office building fronting on the new riverfront park. Private streets within the development will include decorative paving, lighting, and landscape treatments that will allow for seasonal festivals and public gatherings for potential residents, office employees, as well as visitors to the neighborhood.
