CSDG is seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to join our team. Over the past 10 years, CSDG has strategically moved beyond its civil specialty to build a team of dynamic professionals from diverse disciplines, including planners, landscape architects and designers. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the marketing and business development efforts, assisting with creating engaging content, coordinating marketing campaigns, and promoting our brand.
This position involves working closely with technical professionals to ensure that the firm's projects, services, and successes are effectively communicated to target audiences. Through a collaborative, cohesive process and without compromise, CSDG delivers solutions both aspirational and realistic to expand the view of what’s possible in the real world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal Development: Assist in the preparation and submission of proposals, qualifications, and RFP responses, including gathering content, writing, editing, and assembling documents.
- Marketing Material Creation: Develop and update marketing collateral such as brochures, project sheets, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Social Media & Website Management: Create, manage, and curate content for the company’s social media platforms and website to increase engagement and showcase recent projects.
- Event Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and manage trade shows, industry events, and webinars, including logistics, promotional materials, and post-event follow-ups.
- Content Development: Collaborate with firm leadership and technical staff to create engaging content, including blog posts, case studies, and press releases that highlight company projects, expertise, and industry thought leadership.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, opportunities, and industry trends to inform marketing strategies.
- Client Database Management: Maintain and update the client and project databases (e.g., CRM) to track relationships and ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Graphic Design Support: Assist with basic graphic design tasks, such as designing presentations, flyers, and digital content.
- Internal Communications: Coordinate internal communications related to marketing efforts and successes, ensuring staff is informed of the latest developments and milestones.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all marketing materials and communications align with the firm’s brand guidelines and vision.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the AEC (architecture, engineering, and construction) or related industries.
- Skills:
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and website management software.
- Basic graphic design skills are a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of CRM tools is an advantage.
Work Environment:
- This position operates in a professional office environment, with the possibility of occasional travel for events or meetings.
- The role may require occasional evening or weekend work to meet deadlines or attend events.
